Structure of CBB Film Capacitors

The composition principle of CBB film capacitors is actually relatively simple, that is, two parallel dotted plates, the middle insulating dielectric forms the core, and each of the two plates has a lead, that is, two electrodes.

CBB thin film capacitor metal coating film is deposited and attached to the film by vacuum evaporation. The thickness is only tens of nanometers. When there are defects and impurities on the medium, local electrical breakdown may occur. The heat generated by the arc discharge at the electrical breakdown point evaporates the metal coating near the electrical breakdown point, and the breakdown point is separated from the surrounding plates, and the electrical performance of the capacitor can return to normal.

CBB film capacitor structure

CBB capacitor structure: a negative temperature coefficient non-polar capacitor made of non-polar polypropylene film as the dielectric. There are two types: non-sealed (commonly used for encapsulation with colored resin paint) and sealed (encapsulation with metal or plastic shell).

Uses of CBB film capacitors: generally used in medium and low frequency electronic circuits or as starting capacitors for motors.
