3. Lifespan Differences

At the power input, capacitors endure high-frequency ripple currents and grid harmonics. Lifespan varies significantly:

Ordinary capacitors: 1–3 years on average

 

Safety-certified capacitors: tested for 1000 hours at maximum category temperature (e.g., 110℃) with capacitance variation ≤±10%, lasting up to 10 years

This is why devices rely on safety-certified capacitors, not ordinary ones. They are more durable, reliable, and compliant with international safety standards.
